Lately, I’ve been making an effort to try new things. Here’s something to think about: When Was The Last Time You Did Something For The First Time?

Last week, my daughter and I visited a charming little tea room in Pennsylvania. It was our first formal mother and daughter tea party.

I L-O-V-E tea! It’s so healthy, soothing, and tasty. A tea party is a simple and inexpensive way to spend quality time with your family.

So without further ado, let’s get into it.

First, we looked at the tea menu, which included all types of teas. I chose the lemon lavender rooibos, and my daughter chose the peach black tea.

My tea was a perfect blend of lemon, lavender, and vanilla. It was calming, soothing, and citrusy. Friends, I was in tea heaven!

Next, we ordered tea sandwiches because no tea party is complete without them. The sandwiches were cut into cute little triangles without the crust. Adorable and yummy, we almost ordered a second helping.

Then, we ordered our meals. I got an Apple and Brie Panini, and my daughter got The Old Fashioned. Finally, we ordered two chocolate chip scones. Everything was delicious.

As we poured the last cup of tea, my daughter said, “It looks like our tea party is almost over. We should do this again.”

Wait! Is this really happening?

My young adult daughter enjoyed our tea party and wants a repeat. Friends, I felt like a total rockstar. Just call me Mother of the Year.

There is something magical about tea that connects people. We talked nonstop for over an hour. It was an experience that we will cherish forever.

We had a great day and plan on going back soon.

Have you ever visited a tea room?

I love finding cute little spots like this one! I recently went to one in my home town and indulged in some tea myself. I used to drink alot of tea but now I am on coffee (pray for me) This was such a cute and fun idea for a mommy daughter day!

That sounds just like me. In my twenties and thirties I was a heavy coffee drinker. These days, I am back to being a tea lover. When I was younger, I could drink a cup of coffee at 8pm and have no trouble falling asleep. If I drink coffee at 5pm it keeps me up all night now.

I’m a tea lover as well! One of my favorite brands is Loose Leaf Women tea. Not only is the tea delicious, but it is inspiring for women with flavors such as Maja’s Yet She Persisted, Rosie’s Riveting We Can Do It, and Notorious RGB’s Supreme AuthoriTea.

I love this! I never really liked tea until I got older, and I don’t know what I was missing! Now I feel as if I HAVE to start my mornings with tea, it allows me to relax and center myself before the day begins. Cute post!

That was a fun read, Jeanell, and brought back memories of visiting a Tea Room in Fort Myers with a good friend a few years ago. There is a special vibe that fosters relaxing conversation and of course enjoying the delicious treats that go with the tea!
