School is out, and summer is finally here! This list of activities will keep the kids and grandkids busy all summer long. Many of the activities are free or discounted, so you won’t have to break the bank to keep them entertained.

Michaels $3 Crafts

They craft while you shop! Kids ages 3+ will enjoy making a quick craft project that they can take home. Supplies are included. Sign up in-store or online. Seating is limited, so sign up early.

Lakeshore Learning Free Crafts for Kids

Kids create free simple seasonal crafts every Saturday from 11AM-3PM. No reservations are necessary. Ages: 3-14 Dates: 5/4-6/29

Every Kid in a Park

Fourth graders get free access to hundreds of parks, lands, and waters for the entire year. The pass admits all children under 16 and up to three adults for free. This pass is for the 2018 to 2019 school year and expires on August 31, 2019.

Free Fishing Days

Anyone can fish on public waters for free without a license. Some states even offer free fishing weekends! Check the website to find the fishing days in your state.

Kids Bowl Free

Kids ages 15 and under receive two free games of bowling each day all summer long at a participating bowling center. Visit the website to register and find your nearest bowling center.

Home Depot Kids Workshop

Sign up for free hands-on workshops every first Saturday of the month. Seating is limited, so sign up early. Kids will receive an apron, pin, and certificate of completion. Ages: 5-12
